Coconut balls with chocolate recipe
These simply coconut balls with chocolate are just the perfect bite sized truffle, ideal for christmas.
To serve in a beautiful tray to family and friends and have yet another great moment together.
Cos christmas is about this right?
About staying together I meant, not the food.
Whatever is the case, you will enjoy these sweet coconut balls with chocolate for its softness indulgence, its nutty taste and the velvety delicacy of white chocolate all coated with nice little Christmas sugar decorations just to keep up the holiday spirit.
This coconut balls with chocolate recipe was deliberately inspired by one of the best Ferrero Chocolate, Raffaello.
My version is slightly different as it does not have an almond in the centre.
Instead I have given it a total Christmas look.

This is the ingredient list for you coconut balls with chocolate.
Ingredients for about 20 coconut balls with chocolate
150gr desiccated coconut shreds
390gr condensed milk
100gr white chocolate
1tsp coconut oil
Coconut balls with chocolate – Cooking method
Get a sauce pan deep enough to pour in the condensed milk, bring it onto the hob and warm it up over gentle heat.
Add 1 tbsp of coconut oil and stir to let it melt throuhgly.
Melt the white chocolate in the microwave and then add it to the pan.
Stir so to blend the ingredients together.
Time to add in the desiccated coconut shreds.
Just remember to save some for when you have to roll the coconut balls in it later on.
Take the pan off the heat, pour the coconut shreds it in and stir well.
Transfer the coconut balls with chocolate mix into a bowl to cool down few minutes.
After that, cling film the bowl and let it set in the fridge for about 5 hours.
After this time the mix should be firm enough for you to start shape the coconut balls with chocolate.
Suggest you to wet the palm of your hands to make things easier, so the mix doesn’t stick.
Place the decoration confetti in a little bowl. Do the same with the rest of the shredded coconut.
Shape the coconut balls and then roll them over in the sugar confetti to coat it.
As you can see I made some just with confetti, some with just coconut flakes and some more with both.
